Garrett County FTC Qualifier Special Registration
It’s not just an FTC qualifier, it’s an exciting event for the whole family!
Excitement! Robots! Games! Fun! Coopertition! Nature! Friends! Competitors! Food! Swimming! Dancing! (And did we mention Excitement?!?!?!)
There’s still space in this super FIRST Tech Challenge workshop and qualifier event in Garrett County the first weekend in December (on the 1st and 2nd). This event is an opportunity for teams to get together and achieve great things: do some great engineering, have some great competition, and have a great time. The combination of a workshop and qualifier makes it an ideal venue for rookie teams—the veteran teams are available to help the rookie teams rev up their robots during the workshop and then the rookie teams can show what they’ve accomplished during the qualifier. (For veteran teams, the best way to learn is to teach, so there’s a lot of opportunity for veteran teams to rev up their own robots in the process!)
But (shh!) it’s not just about the robots—the event also a great opportunity for families to get together and have a great time, too: in addition to the super workshop and qualifier, there’s also some great side attractions (side distractions?!?!) as well like indoor swimming. Check out the special event website.
We’re looking forward to this hybrid super workshop and qualifier event and would love to see it become a regular fixture as the kickoff event for the Maryland FTC season. We have space available and are extending our registration period for this event only until October 31. Let us know if you are interested and we will confirm details with you by November 2.
