MDFLL Head Judging – Greetings & MD Judging Information

Hello!

I haven’t had the chance to meet many of you and look forward to seeing you at the qualifiers. Remember it’s up to you to set the tone and exemplify gracious professionalism throughout our FLL season. Thank you all for doing this; you are all making a big difference in the lives of our future engineers, scientist, mathematicians, educators and more.

At this point, I imagine most of you are well underway developing your projects robot designs, and coaching the kids on the core values at the foundation of the FIRST FLL competitions. For many items there will be only small changes from last year. For example we do not plan on having activities for the Core values judging. As always, our judges will be using the Rubrics as their guide in judging the kids. In the coming days more details will follow from Dave and myself, but for now I would like all coaches and teams to be familiar with several resources already posted at:

For specific questions please feel free to contact Maryland’s head judges Dave Baron, Mike Drob, Robert Mohr or myself. As always best of luck in this year’s Senior Solutions. See you out there.
